  • I led the creative design of Poppo’s Taqueria’s mobile app experience—partnering with UX, strategy, and execution teams to guide UX and UI design sprints and ensure a seamless user experience.

Started on Anna Maria Island in 2013, Poppo’s Taqueria is a family owned and operated Mexican-inspired restaurant that traces their roots to the street food of San Francisco’s Mission District. Poppo’s makes everything from scratch and uses ingredients that are all whole, fresh, local (when available) and organic (when it makes sense). Their motto is “No compromise”.

Mobile App Design

Operating in 6 locations throughout the Tampa Bay area, Poppo’s needed a way for customers to order online, collect loyalty, & schedule food deliveries. With that, the Poppo’s mobile app was born. The mobile app was designed to be simple, navigating the user to build their own tacos, burritos or bowl with upsell features throughout the app. Using the capabilities of Flutter, the app was developed only once for both iOS & Android platforms.
